Today we have a fabulous sketch by our guest sketch designer Ana Castro.
We asked her a few questions about herself so we can get to know her a little better. Here are her answers.....
1. Tell us a little bit about yourself (where you live, hobbies, blog addy, scrappy background, etc.)?
Hi, Ladies! I'm Ana Castro from Brazil. I live in a city localized in an Island in the south of Brazil, named Florianopolis;
I'm clinical engineer, am married to my husband Rafael
and am mom to my 9 year old son Daniel, who is the
subject of most of my scrapbook pages!
I began scrapping in January 2009, mostly creating 12x12 layouts and altered items. My style is clean and I love boy’s pages and whimsical style.
If you want to know more about my work and style, you can visit my blog and galleries.

2. Tell us about your scrappy style and habits?
My favorite techniques are distressing, stitching and adding dimension to my pages. I like to try new things every time and I love boy’s pages! My style is clean and I used to find find inspiration in my life and outdoor.
3. Describe your sketch making process (i.e., do you make the sketch first or the page first? Where do you get your ideas for sketches?)
I am used to starting my process by the photos, but sometimes I do the sketch first like in this case.
I love to use new papers and products. This really makes me happy!!
4. What are 5 products/trends or techniques that are your favorite right now?
Definitely I love stamps and new patterned papers. Actually I love cards and project life products. It’s so easy to use!!
